AHA PALS HeartCode Part 2 – In-Person Skills Session

Welcome to the American Heart Association (AHA) PALS HeartCode Part 2 In-Person Skills Session! This hands-on training is designed to enhance your Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) skills through practical application and expert instruction.

Important Information

1. LifeTek’s Responsibility

✔ LifeTek facilitates Part 2, the in-person skills session of the PALS course.

📌 Your online course link (Part 1) is provided by your Education Services or HR Department.

2. Course Overview

🩺 PALS Skills Check

• This session builds on the AHA online PALS Course (Part 1).
• Includes hands-on skills practice and testing under the guidance of an AHA-certified PALS Instructor.

3. Completion Requirements

✅ Complete Part 1 online via the link from your Education Services or HR Department.
✅ Attend and pass the in-person skills session within 60 days of completing Part 1.
✅ Upon successful completion of both parts, you’ll receive your AHA PALS course completion card.

4. E-Card Issuance

📩 Your official AHA PALS eCard will be emailed within 2-3 business days after completing the skills session.

Important Notes

⚠ Online Course (Part 1) Access: Contact your Education Services Department for access.
📌 Certificate Requirement:

• PRINT your AHA online course completion certificate and bring it to the skills session.
• Your certificate must include your name, course type, and score.
  ❌ Failure to bring your certificate will result in denial of participation in the skills session.
