ACLS Initial Provider Course with BLS Skills
Course Overview
The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is an advanced, instructor-led program designed to:
- Emphasize the importance of team dynamics and communication.
- Address systems of care and post-cardiac-arrest care.
- Cover airway management and related pharmacology.
Skills are taught through large group sessions, small group learning, and case-based scenarios to enhance practical application and testing.

Target Audience
The ACLS course is intended for healthcare professionals involved in the management of:
- Cardiopulmonary arrest.
- Other cardiovascular emergencies in emergency response, medicine, intensive care, or critical care units.
Provider Proficiencies Required
Participants should already be proficient in:
- Performing BLS CPR Skills using the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.
- Reading and interpreting ECGs.
- Understanding ACLS drugs.
- Conducting BLS and ACLS Surveys.
Note: The course does not teach ECG rhythm interpretation or detailed ACLS pharmacology.
Prerequisites and Preparation
All prerequisites must be completed before attending the class.

Registration Requirements:
Add the following items to your cart during registration:
- 2025 AHA ACLS Precourse Assesment and Viedo. (free access provided).
- Complete the ACLS precourse work, watch the videos, and achieve a minimum score of 70%.
- You will recieve these in your comformation email. Please contact us if you do not.
- 2025 BLS Exam
- Complete the BLS Exam minimum score of 84%
- Print and bring the BLS Exam and Pre-Assessment Completion to class.

- Duration: Approximately 10 hours.

Certification
Upon successful completion, participants receive:
- AHA ACLS & BLS Provider e-Cards (valid for 2 years).
